Robinson Crusoe chapter 8

Ten more days passed , Robinson and Xury saw people. They were friendly and helpful. They gave Robinson and Xury food even when they had nothing to trade. Robinson and Xury continued sailing . On the way they saw a ship. They both shot the gun to signal to them. The ship stopped. Robinson and Xury sailed their boat to the ship. The captain spoke English while Robinson also spoke English. He sailed to Brazil and did not take any goods from Robinson. The captain even bought boats for Robinson. The captain also gave Xury a job on the ship. At Brazil Robinson lived with the captain's friend. He made a living on his sugar plantation. Robinson said it looked interesting so he also built a plantation.

Robinson Crusoe chapter 7

Few days later, Robinson and a slave called Xury were far from Sallee . Robinson was very happy but Xury was not , especially when he heard the roars from animals that they did not know. The sun was setting so Robinson and Xury stopped . They went to the deck of the boat to get some sleep. When they were trying to sleep they heard some strange noise .Robinson took the gun and shot it into the air. The noise suddenly disappeared. The next day, Robinson went looking for water while Xury stayed on the boat to see if there are anybody. When Robinson was walking back, he saw Xury running around. Xury showed Robinson a hare that he had killed. That day they had the hare for dinner .The next day they continued on their journey. Every night they stopped to get water.

Robinson Crusoe chapter 6

One day, Robinson's master finally brought him and another slave
on a fishing trip. He failed to escape because of the fog. Robinson's master wanted him to clean and decorate the boat for a party the master friends. While Robinson was doing what he was asked to do, his master came stomping angrily. His friend did not want the party on the boat so he asked Robinson and two other slaves to catch fishes for the party. The two slaves took what they needed for fishing, while Robinson took what he needed for escaping. He tricked one of the slaves to get some gun powder. Robinson pushed 1 of the slaves into the water to prevent him from telling the master of his escape. Robinson had the other slave to help him.

Robinson Crusoe chapter 5

Robinson went on another trip with Captain Culpeper's crew to Africa. It was Robinson's worst trip. On the way to Africa, the crew was chased by a pirate ship. The crew fired their guns at the pirate ship. In the end, the crew was caught by the pirates. The pirates brought them to Sallee. The crew was sold as slaves . Robinson worked for his master. He wished he could escape. He just needed a chance to follow his master on a fishing trip. Sadly his master did not bring him along.
